Diana Ahl
As a former teacher, I understand the unique challenges of the profession. From working without sufficient or adequate materials, to creating a healthy learning environment while keeping the bar set high, to not even having five minutes to run to the bathroom between classes, I truly understand what it means to teach!
It is more important than ever that we are nourishing and developing ourselves to bring positive leadership and mindfulness tools into the classroom. Our students need more than just instruction and content. They need for us to sit with them and live the content from a place of curiosity while having opportunities to lead each other. I truly believe that we are always both the teacher and the student in any situation. It is with this belief that I wanted to become a certified coach. Almost immediately, I was able to bring a new awareness and clarity to my teaching and the impact on the students was transformative! I am excited to pay it forward by coaching other educators and to see them thrive! Diana is CEO of Ahl Forward Coaching and Consulting LLC, a boutique coaching firm based in Philadelphia, serving clients across the globe.
