Jackie Eldridge

​Jackie has been a teacher and teacher educator for the past 38 years. As a teacher Jackie has taught all grades from Kindergarten to grade eight. Now, at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto Jackie teaches The Foundations of Teaching and Learning as well as Inclusive Elementary Classrooms.

Her doctoral research is about the ethics of care in schools. Jackie is very passionate about education and helping all stakeholders in education understand that they can and will make a difference in the lives of students, and indeed, in the world.

Jackie is also CTI and ORSC trained and she holds workshops in the areas of mindfulness, emotional intelligence, personality dimensions, effective teaching and learning and sustainable leadership.
