Education can be alive, connecting, and impactful. As a coach, I work from the belief that when educators and administrators employ a coaching approach of powerful questions, deep listening (and more!), they bring out the best in their learners. Learning environments become places of curiosity, play, thoughtfulness and compassion. Through coaching, my clients see new perspectives, reconnect to their passion, and express leadership; it’s this that creates real change in education systems. Bottom line, I help educators and administrators who seek to energize and change the self, along with the learning environments in which they work. I believe coaching is a critical avenue through which to do this, and offer the following for individuals and organizations:
My leadership extends from teaching and coaching in both K-12 and postsecondary organizations, and has ranged from ESL to students with disabilities, to educational organization, and innovation within education. I love big ideas with outcomes, outside-the-box approaches to education and learning, and laughing really loudly in the halls of my workplaces.
